Adoption Process
The first step is to fill out an Adoption Application. This gives us the initial information we need to start our process. We take our job and animals seriously, and go to great lengths to put the best pet with the best family.
We suggest that you put the type and/or breed of dog you are looking for in the application, even if you don't see the dog on our Adopt A Pet page. Sometimes, all of our dogs are not listed for adoption when you apply. And there are so many homeless dogs in this area and we may can find what you are looking for.
One of our volunteers will contact you after you fill out the application to explain to entire process. Working an application involves calling you, your vet, your references, and if necessary, your landlord.
Our adoption fee is $350. If approved, when you receive your new fur baby, they will come to you fully vetted, chipped, and spayed/neutered.
Things you should know.....You must be 21 to adopt. All of your current pets must be up to date on all vaccines, including heartworm preventative. All members of the home must be in agreement with the adoption.
Out-of-state adoption are possible and we can assist in setting up transportation in most cases. All transport fees are paid by adopter.
